Visit Five San Francisco Attractions Plus The World Famous Cable Cars!

Adult: $69.00 and Child: $39.00

CityPass is simple. The San Francisco CityPass gets you into six famous San Francisco attractions, including the world famous Cable Cars. You have nine days to visit each attraction (once) beginning the day you first use your CityPass, and you have 7 days to use the Cable Car and Muni Passport.

Once you have your CityPass, simply present your booklet on your way into each attraction. The agent will remove that attraction's ticket, and you're in. (Tickets are void if removed from the CityPass booklet).

SAN FRANCISCO MUSEUM OF MORDERN ART

Conveniently located in the flourishing Yerba Buena Gardens cultural district, SFMOMA offers the West Coast's most comprehensive collection of modern and contemporary art as well as an ever-changing program of special exhibitions, complimented by shopping at the MuseumStore and dining at Caffè Museo.

CityPass Includes: One San Francisco Museum of Modern Art general admission; some special exhibits, lectures, film programs may require an additional fee.

Opening Hours: Open Daily, Except Wednesdays, from 11:00am to 5:45pm. Thursdays until 8:45pm.During Summer Months (Memorial Day - Labor Day) the museum opens at 10:00am. Closed Wednesdays, July 4th, Thanksgiving, New Years Day and December 25th.

BLUE AND GOLD FLEET

A visit to San Francisco isn't complete without the absolute best panoramic cruise aboard Blue & Gold Fleet's one-hour Bay Cruise Adventure along the city's historic waterfront, past the PIER 39 sea lions, under the remarkable Golden Gate Bridge, by Sausalito, past Angel Island and around notorious Alcatraz. Narrated highlights are the backdrop to amazing views of San Francisco's landmark hills and bridges. Blue & Gold Fleet's bayside home is PIER 39, a boardwalk lined with shops and eateries, rides and live entertainment, and amusing resident sea lions.

Location: PIER 39 west of the marina at Beach Street and the Embarcadero, 2 blocks east of Fisherman's Wharf.

 

EXPLORATORIUM

According to Newsweek, "There are two models for great American amusement centers... Disneyland and Exploratorium." The Exploratorium is like a mad scientist's penny arcade, a scientific funhouse and an experimental laboratory all rolled into one. This museum of science, art and human perception contains over 450 exhibits on view at any one time. Known as the first and foremost of the world's interactive museums, the Exploratorium is housed in San Francisco's Palace of Fine Arts near the Golden Gate Bridge.

CityPass Includes: One Exploratorium general admission; not valid for specially ticketed events. 

Opening Hours:  Tuesday - Sunday 10:00am to 5:00pm. Closed Mondays, Thanksgiving and December 25th.

Location: Near the Golden Gate Bridge at the Palace of Fine Arts, 3601 Lyon Street.

 

OR THE LEGION OF HONOR AND DE YOUNG MUSEUM

The Fine Arts of Museums of San Francisco, comprised of the de Young Museum in Golden Gate Park and the Legion of Honor in Lincoln Park, is the largest public arts institution in San Francisco. The de Young showcases American art from the 17th- through the 21st- centuries, and art from Central and South America, the Pacific and Africa. A collection of 4,000 years of ancient and European art is displayed at the Legion of Honor in a Beaux-Arts style building overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge. The de Young was originally founded in 1895 in the Golden Gate Park, this cherished attraction has been re-built into a new state of the art facility designed by the renowned Swiss architecture firm Herzog and de Meuroon and Fong & Chan architects in San Francisco.

CityPass Includes: One general admission to either museum or BOTH if visited on the same day. Some special exhibitions, lectures or film programs may require additional fee.

Opening Hours: Both Museums are open Tuesday - Sunday from 9:30am to 5:15pm. The de Young is open Friday evenings until 8:45pm from late January to early November only.

Location: The de Young is located Golden Gate Park; on the concourse at the intersection of JFK Drive and Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive. The Legion of Honor is located in Lincoln Park Golf Course at 34th Avenue and Clement Street.

 

CALIFORNIA ACADEMY OF SCIENCES

Explore an aquarium, planetarium, and natural history museum - all under one living roof. Come nose-to-beak with penguins and parrots, climb into the canopy of a living rainforest, and get an astronaut's view of your home planet. From the depths of a Philippine coral reef to the outer reaches of the universe, it's all inside the California Academy of Sciences.

CityPass Includes: One California Academy of Sciences general admission including access to museum exhibits, aquarium, rainforest, planetarium, natural history museum and the living roof.  

Opening Hours: Monday - Saturday 9:30am to 5:00pm and Sunday 11:00am to 5:00pm. Closed Thanksgiving and December 25th.

Location: In Golden Gate Park situated in front of the Music Concourse and adjacent to the Shakespeare Gardens

 

MUNI AND CABLE CAR 7 DAY PASSPORT

The CityPass Muni Passport entitles bearer to ride any Municipal Railway passenger vehicle for SEVEN consecutive days from the date validated on the cover of the CityPass ticket booklet. You must show validated cover to driver.

The passport is valid on all Muni vehicles including cable cars. The Muni system operates both diesel and electric trolley buses, historic streetcars and the world famous Cable Cars. Look on the back of each CityPass attraction ticket for information on how to get there using Muni.

CityPass Includes: Unlimited transportation on Muni for 7 CONSECUTIVE DAYS beginning day of first CityPass use. Does not include BART; May be used for the Candlestick Ballpark Express for an additional $5 per person. Use is subject to all existing rules, regulations and charges approved by the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency.

AQUARIUM OF THE BAY

Discover the amazing animals that live in the San Francisco Bay at the only nature center dedicated to local marine wildlife. Walk through crystal clear tunnels surrounded by 20,000 fascinating denizens of the deep, including ginormous Sevengill Sharks. Touch sharks, batrays and sea stars. Includes daily extra-special events such as animal feedings.

Opening Hours: Open daily from 10:00am to 6:00pm; Friday, Saturday and Sunday until 7:00pm.Extended Summer Hours (May 25 - Sept 3): 9:00am - 8:00pm.
