Over a century ago, Ghirardelli Square was home to the eminent Ghirardelli Family's chocolate, cocoa, mustard and box factory. Today, Ghirardelli Square features an international collection of remarkable restaurants, galleries and specialty shops, breathtaking bay views and beautifully landscaped plazas. No trip to San Francisco is complete without a visit to the Ghirardelli Chocolate Manufactory, an old-fashioned soda fountain and chocolate shop, which dishes up Ghirardelli's world famous hot fudge sundaes. The Manufactory also features original chocolate making equipment in operation.

For all of you nostalgic diners out there, here is a time machine to take you back to the good old days! Back to the neon lights, flashy architecture, and rock 'n' roll of the fabulous 50's!

Designed to pay homage to the most American of icons: the Hamburger, French Fries, Coca- Cola, Malts and Ice Cream Sodas. We are the most classic of diners!

Lori's Diner 336 Mason, the first location in SF, was opened in 1986. Open 24 hours, it features counter service, all day breakfast, sparkling red booths, rock 'n' roll, and Coca-Cola, Elvis and Marilyn Monroe memorabilia.

The great food and the fun theme of Lori's Mason became so popular that in order to meet the demand for service, a new, bigger location was needed. In 1993, Lori's Diner 500 Sutter opened its doors. Not only did this store possess all of the nostalgic trappings of the others, it also featured a bigger menu and a lot more space. To top it all off, it was then equipped with a '59 Sears Allstate motorcycle, an enormous collection of vintage radios, and an authentic jukebox that plays original 45's! This location, also famous for the all day breakfasts and great burgers, proved to be an even greater success with its classic dinners and desserts.
