Dates and Times: Daily 9:00 AM Alcatraz Ferry time will be confirmed based on availability. Hotel Pick up Available. Duration: Combo Tour - 3 hours Muir Woods & Sausalito Plus Alcatraz - 2-3 hours. The 3- 4 hour Muir Woods Redwoods National Park & Sausalito tour starts in Fisherman's Wharf San Francisco and heads through the Marina and Presidio National Park to the Golden Gate Bridge. You will have a 10 minute photo stop at the Bridge. From the Golden Gate Bridge vista point you will enjoy spectacular views of San Francisco and the Marin Headlands. The Tour continues North winding along picturesque Highway 1 to Muir Woods. This 550 acre National Monument is home to Coastal Redwoods, some of the tallest and oldest trees in the world. Upon arrival you will be given a map and guide of the park showing various trails and routes for a self guided tour. In the park there is a cafe, National Park bookstore and gift shop. You will spend around 1 1/4 hours among these towering trees. After leaving the National Park the tour follows the coastal road towards the city of Sausalito. Your Blue and Gold Fleet Alcatraz Tour Sightseeing and Highlights Include: Audio Cell Block Tour - Available in 7 Languages, Introductory Movie, Alcatraz Museum, Alcatraz Bookshop, Bay Cruise to and from Island.
Muir Redwoods National Park and Sausalito Motorcoach Tour: The 3 to 3 1/2 hour Muir Woods tour starts in San Francisco and heads through the Marina and Presidio to the Golden Gate Bridge for a 10 minute photo stop. From here you will have spectacular views of San Francisco and the Marin Headlands. Your tour will continue north before winding along picturesque Highway 1 to Muir Woods. This 550-acre National Monument is home to Coastal Redwoods, some of the tallest and oldest trees in the world.
Your free map and guide of the park indicates various trails and facilitates a self guided tour. A small cafe, a bookstore and a gift shop are also available. The tour spends around 1 1/4 hours in the woods. After leaving Muir Woods, the tour heads back along the coastal road towards Sausalito.
The tour spends around 45 minutes in Sausalito, a European style village located directly across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. Enjoy the San Francisco Bay views, shopping, galleries and fabulous mansions.
More details about your Alcatraz Ferry and Prison Tour:
After a short 10 minute ferry ride across San Francisco Bay you will arrive on the infamous Alcatraz Island. The tour includes a movie of Alcatraz history and a 35 minute audio headset tour of an Alcatraz cell block. This audio tour is available in 6 languages: English, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.
The Agave Trail begins near the ferryboat landing on the east side of Alcatraz and continues just above the water level to the southern tip of the island. A walk along the trail winds through a protected bird sanctuary, ending at a stone stairway, which leads to the parade ground, formerly ringed by the houses of guards and their families. The Agave Trail is open from late September to about mid-February, when bird-nesting season begins.
After the tour there is time to visit the Alcatraz Museum, the bookshop and explore the island. Stay as long as you like – ferries depart every 1/2 hour back to San Francisco. Average time spent on Alcatraz is 1 1/2 - 3 hours.

Entrance to Muir Woods National Monument is included in the price of the tour.
You will have a 45 minute to 1 hour break midday for lunch in Fisherman's Wharf. There are many great dining choices in the Wharf area.

Alcohol is prohibited on any sailing to Alcatraz Island, but is available for the return trip.
Schedules, service and prices are subject to change without notice. Due to operational
