The tour I took was to Muir Wood & the Wine country. The location of the tour was very good. However, it would have been nicer to have more involvement from the tour guide at the locations. For example at Muir Wood it would have been nicer to have more interaction.
On the Wine Tour, it was good and our tour guide Tim was very informative. However, I had expected to see more of the vineyards rather than the tasting rooms. I think it would have been very easy for me to have driven out to the town myself and found the tasting rooms. I really wanted to see the vineyards and perhaps get a better understanding for how they make wine in this region. This was my main disappointment for the trip.

Although this tour didn't include the city but rather the surrounding areas, I felt that it was worth the time and money. Our tour guide from the beginning was fun, open, and informative. She was able to provide information about the city historically as well as provide information on places to go. Her driving was safe and comfortable. In my opinion, my visit to San Francisco would have been incomplete without taking these tours. Alcatraz is a must see attraction in the area and had I not booked the tour prior to leaving home, I would not have been able to go to it because all tickets for the ferry were sold for over a week in advance. Wheelchair facilities are available. However, passengers in a wheelchair can be accommodated only if they can get on and off the van on their own and if the wheelchair is foldable. The driver is not permitted to assist handicapped persons due to insurance restrictions.

Alcatraz Ferry departs from Pier 33 along the San Francisco Embarcadero. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your departure time for boarding.

On-street parking in the Fisherman's Wharf area can be hard to find, and nearly every space has a parking meter. Parking meters take nickels, dimes and quarters. Commerical Parking: There are fifteen commercial lots with a five-block radius of the Alcatraz Landing at Pier 33, with a total of more than 3,000 parking spaces. The closest and most convenient lot is at 80 Francisco at Kearny, just one block away, across the Embarcadero from Alcatraz Landing.

Handicap Accessibility: Visitors unable to make the climb up Alcatraz's roads may take advantage of SEAT - Sustainable Easy Access Transport - an electric shuttle that meets each scheduled arrival at the Alcatraz dock and transports visitors requiring mobility assistance from the dock to the prison building. SEAT returns visitors requiring mobility assistance from the prison building back to the dock at regular intervals throughout the day. Visitors requiring mobility assistance may be accompanied by one attendant in their party if space is available. Families with small children and strollers cannot be accommodated on SEAT. The following areas are completely wheelchair accessible: Alcatraz dock area, Prison building main floor, All bookstores, Museum displays and Island theater.

Redwoods and Wine Country Tour Confirmation & Travel Voucher:
This tour must be booked 24 hours in advance. You will receive an immediate confirmation email with an E-Ticket Voucher for your Double Decker Tour. Print this voucher and present the SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers. Your voucher must be printed. No Exceptions.
Alcatraz Confirmation & Travel Voucher:
You will be receiving a separate confirmation email within 12-24 Hours with Alcatraz Tickets and all necessary details. Alcatraz Tickets are only available for booking for the next 90 days. Confirmation of Alcatraz Tickets, that are booked 90 days or more in advance, will be sent when tickets become available for booking.
Redwoods and Sausalito Tour Cancellation Policy:

20% of Total Tour Cost + $10.00 Administration Fee for any cancellations once the tour is booked.

30% of Total Tour Cost + $10.00 Administration Fee for cancellations between 72 - 24 Hours before tour date.
- 100% of the Total Tour Cost for cancellations within 24 hours of the tour date and for No-Shows. Customers are considered a No-Show if they cancel the morning of the trip, are not at the designated pickup location at the correct time, or for any other reason miss a tour without informing Incredible Adventures at least 12 hours prior to departure - such as not giving us their hotel info.
Alcatraz Cancellation Policy:
Alcatraz Tickets are Final Sale. Any changes to your Alcatraz departure time must be done 48 hours prior to your Alcatraz Cruise date. The National Park Pass is not applicable to the Alcatraz Tour. No exchanges, refunds or cancellations. You may purchase up to 8 tickets on the web. Alcatraz is a National Park and does not offer any refunds or discounts.
Supplier and Tourcorp assume no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, weather, conditions of trails, roads, bays, oceans, rivers, airspace and any other conditions beyond control of Supplier, in addition to insufficient numbers of passengers.
