Although 6 people had reservations for the tour, only 2 (myself & wife)showed up so the tour was cancelled. We did rent bikes and rode on our own.
The bikes are excellent; especially like the handlebar bags that can hold several items.
The directions on the map that comes with the bike could be a little clearer or more detailed.
Overall, very enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend Blazing Saddles to others.James C., 840, 09-2008

This is a must do, particularly for the views of the city from the bridge and the experience of biking it (and the freeway for that matter!) If you've got time to look around in Sausilito at the end of the bike ride, I would recommend it!

I had booked the "Bike the Bridge" tour with "Blazing Saddles". The route is just great, but the guide leaves early in Sausalito. No flexibility to stay with the guests. The supplied maps are very poor, more of a flyer quality. Directions and legend on the maps are misleading and we made it to the ferry in the very last minute (last ferry of the day). The route via Tiburon is very long and can take all day, so make sure you don't spend too much time taking pictures. Other than this - amazing experience.Christoph R., 278, 11-2007

This was a very enjoyable biking tour, although be aware, unless you are already a regular/avid biker,it is fairly strenuous and the guide expects you to keep up. You will be very tired and exhilarated by the time you finish. The weather has some effect on how much you can see of and from the bridge but overall there is plenty to see and the guide is knowledgeable and personable.Elisabeth V., 840, 06-2007

Guided tours depart daily* from 2715 Hyde Street and Beach Streets near the Powell/Hyde Cable Car Turnaround. The guided tour begins at 10 AM and is approximately 3 hours including the ferry ride back. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in and get fitted for your bike, helmet and safety orientation. Reservations are required.
Return Ferry Ticket is included in the tour price. Advance reservations are required. A minimum of 4 total guests is required in order for us to conduct our daily guided tour.
