Make sure to bring a travel printer for your voucher/email when traveling, unless you have your tickets booked in advance. There's so many possibilities in San Fransisco...that's why we waited and checked things out and booked later. It was a big hassle to get the vouchers printed with no printer.

my only complaint I have is that after crossing under the golden gate bridge, it would have been nice to spend more time in that location. We turned around and returned immediately and spent more time near Alcatraz than I preferred.

Directions and Parking:
- Ferry departs from Pier 39 at San Francisco's Fishermans's Wharf. The entrance to PIER 39 features a passenger and taxi loading zone. PIER 39 has convenient visitor parking in the PIER 39 Garage, located directly across the street from the Entrance Plaza. The PIER 39 Garage is open 24-hours a day, seven days a week.

Handicapped Accessibility: Vessel has enclosed main decks that are wheelchair accessible. However, open air exterior portions of these vessels are only accessible by stairs. All vessel have accessible restroom facilities however wheelchair tie-downs are not currently available.
