The restaurant for the tour was delicious. I was very happy with the food and the selection, as were the others in my group. Our tour guide during the walking part was very informative and very nice. The bus driver on the coach bus who drove us to the restaurant and then to Treasure Island was also very nice and I felt safe with him driving. However, the driver that picked us up at the hotel to bring us down to the tour office was terrible. He drove too fast and I was very nervous. I don't think it's necessary for someone to drive that way even if they are on a tight schedule. I was extremely uncomfortable and was very happy that he was not with us for the night. We were surprised to learn that part of the tour was by bus--we didn't realize that. Dinner was good, but not the best Chinese food I've ever had. I guess part of that is because you can only go places that accommodate large groups. I enjoyed the walking tour but could have done with more history and less information about what movies were filmed where (this may be my own bent--I'm a historian, and I could care less about Don Johnson). The tour was good and the meal delicious. I was disappointed that we didn't go on Stockton Street, which I caught a glimpse of from a city bus and realized is the very heart of Chinatown. I felt like the tour was worth about $10 less than the price of $63.Bob H., , 10-2008

The restaurant was very crowded and confusing, but the tour itself was interesting and informative. Our guide was polite, amusing and gave us several photo opportunities. Guest are asked to meet at The San Francisco Sightseeing Ticket Office at PIER 43 1/2 at Fisherman's Wharf. This is located on the ground Floor of The Franciscan Restaurant. There is ample paid parking lots and very limited metered street parking is available.

Wheelchair facilities are available. However, passengers in a wheelchair can be accommodated only if they can get on and off the bus on their own and if the wheelchair can be folded. The driver is not permitted to assist handicapped persons due to insurance restrictions.

Reservation may be cancelled, without penalty, at least 24 Hours prior to the confirmed tour date. Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. We charge 100% for No Shows. If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator, the full ticket price will be refunded.
