Departure Location: 

• Please meet at 2715 Hyde Street between Beach and North Point, San Francisco, CA. 94133. Located in The Fisherman's Wharf. A limited number of paid parking is available on site. We are at the end of the Hyde Stret Cable Car line.

Can I stop along the way:

• Of course. Like we've said, you set your own pace. The car always knows where you are and you can park anywhere you want (motorcycle parking or car parking) for as long as you want, and as soon as you start to drive again, the car will begin to talk!

Do you have to stay on the tour:

• Absolutely not! If there is a San Francisco sight you wish to see but is not yet included on the tour, just use the map we provide to navigate your own way through the city streets. You can even put a CD in the stereo and enjoy music along the way!

Can the GoCar climb all of San Francisco’s hills:

• GoCar can climb all hills with one person, but with a passenger onboard there are some hills that it cannot climb, like the ones the cable cars can climb. The GoCar still manages to get to some of the highest summits of the City like Twin Peaks, Lombard St. The GPS routes you on approaches that the car can handle.

Vehicle Insurance and cost:

• A Daily collision damage waiver (CDW)  ia available for the rental is similar to a car rental and costs $12/day for the GoCar if selected by the driver.

• Important Notice: Reservations are held for 30 minutes after your reservation time. Reservations over 30 minutes late will be considered a no-show and charged in full. Internet rates cannot be combined with any other discount, coupon or offer. An imprint of the renter's credit card, along with a completed and signed rental and liability waiver are required prior to the release of the vehicle. CDW insurance can also be purchased directly from GoCar. All drivers of the vehicles to be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid drivers License and provide a valid credit card as a $ 400.00 deposit. 

Where can you go:

• Exploring all over San Francisco is very popular activity with a GoCar. Cars are not allowed on Interstates or on the Golden Gate Bridge. Explore Fisherman's Wharf, The Marina District, Haight Street, Golden Gate Park, Lombard Street - The crookedest street in the world, and Fort Point overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge.

 

Payment and Security Deposit:

Payment: You reservation is secured in advance by a major credit card; Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover Card. An imprint of the renter's credit card, along with a completed and signed rental agreement and liability waver are required prior to the release of the vehicle. CDW insurance can also be purchased directly from Go Car Rentals for $12.00 per day. A $400.00 security deposit is required on a major credit card.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

You will receive an immediate email confirmation with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on your home/office printer and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers. This service can be booked the day of your travel date.

Reservations are held for 30 minutes after your reservation time. Reservations over 30 minutes late will be considered a no-show and charged in full.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per car administration fee. We charge for NO SHOWS. No Shows on tour dates are charged 100%. If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator, the full ticket price will be refunded.

Recommended: Comfortable shoes and a extra layer of warm clothing. Weather permitting. If seasonal fog obscures the view, cruise route may be altered.Meals, Gratuities and Souvenirs are not included.
