Lake Tahoe Ski Day Tour The best way to get from SF to Tahoe and back in one DAY!!! Not to mention some incredible skiing. Ski one of the many great mountains, including Northstar-at-Tahoe, Sugarbowl, Alpine Meadows, Sierra-at-Tahoe, Heavenly, or Kirkwood.

We get you to the slopes when they open. Price includes one day lift ticket. We can take your gear along with our rooftop racks, or you can rent on the slopes.

Whether you are an individual, school group, work partners, friends, families, we have great rates on rentals and lesson packages. Learn to ski or snowboard, or improve on your skills.

Highlights: Hotel Pick up in Downtown San Francisco and Fisherman's Wharf Travel across the Bay Bridge heading through Berkeley and the East Bay. We travel through Gold Country, with a stop for a stretch and a snack as we head up into the Sierra Nevada. Ski or ride to your hearts content in some of the United States best terrain and snow conditions.

Reconvene after the lifts close for the day and hop in the van for the return to San Francisco with a quick stop for dinner or snacks on the way. Enjoy the skyline of San Francisco as we cross the Bay Bridge and return you to your lodging.

A typical day on our Lake Tahoe Ski Trip

5:00am -5:45am: Hotel pickup from San Francisco City Hotel.

6:00am - 9:00am: Travel across the Bay Bridge heading through Berkeley and the East Bay. We travel through Gold Country and head up to the Sierra Nevada

9:00am - 4:00pm: Arrive at Lake Tahoe at approximately 9:00am. Once at the ski resort your guide will make getting onto the slopes easy. We strive to get you on the mountain safely and quickly so you can enjoy what you've come for...the epic Sierra Nevada snow! If you need to rent equipment or would like to set up a lesson your guide will happily help you out.

For your trip we can arrange rental gear for those that need equipment (skis/snowboard & boots). Never skiied or snowboarded before? Not a problem. We offer a First Time lesson package that includes gear rental, a 2 hour group lesson and a limited lift ticket.

4:30 - 5:00pm: Meet at the van after the lifts close and return to San Francisco with a quick stop on the way for dinner or snacks. We arrive back in San Franciso approximately at 8:00pm and be returned to your hotel.

• Adults: $38 for Skis/boots or $40.00 for Snowboard/Boots

• Children up to age 13: $23 for Skis/Boots or $33 for Snowboard/Boots

• Equipment only rental is offered upon arrival in Tahoe

Eupiment Rental and Lesson Packages:

• Adults: $40.00 - 1st time package includes 2 hour lesson, rental equipment, and an all day lift ticket good on beginner lifts only.

• Children up to age 13: $55 - 1st time package includes 2 hour lesson, rental equipment, and an all day lift ticket good on beginner lifts only.

• Children up to age 13: $85 - 1st time package include full day lesson, rental equipment, and an all day lift ticket good on beginner lifts only

What to bring:

We can arrange rental equipment but it is essential that you bring the basics. Safe, fun in the snow is dependent upon proper clothing. We can provide items at $10.00 a piece or $25.00 for 3 or more items. Payable on day of tour.

Complimentary Pick Up Information:

Please provide you hotel information on the order form. We pick up at hotels in the major tourist areas of San Francisco. Pick up is NOT available from the Airport and outlying areas. We can meet you at the 4th Street Caltrain Station and major hotels close to BART stations in San Francisco.

Children and Seniors rates:

Discounts are offered for children under 13 years. The rate applies to infants as they will be occupying a seat of their own. Infants, by law, are not permitted to sit on their parents lap. If you have an infant who requires a child seat, please bring your personal child seat as Incredible Adventures does not provide child seats. There are no other discounts. No senior rate offered.

Handicap Accessibility:

Wheelchair facilities are available. However, passengers in a wheelchair can be accommodated only if they can get on and off the van on their own and if the wheelchair is foldable. The driver is not permitted to assist handicapped persons due to insurance restrictions.Transportation

About our Vehicles:

We use 15 passenger vans with heating and stereo for a comfortable ride. All of our vans have large roof racks for your luggage and equipment. All of our vehicles are run on 100% biodiesel (vegetable oil-based fuel).

Weather:

The weather conditions in the Sierra Nevada Mountains can change dramatically. Generally, winter conditions prevail from January through April charaterized by heavy snow and cold temperatures...perfect for skiing!! From April till the end of the season you can expect Spring conditions, sunshine with mild temperatures. Late season storms are always possible, and welcome. The Lake Tahoe basin receives 20-30 feet of snow annually and with over 300 days of sunshine it's no wonder skiing in California is so popular. Crystal blue skies and deep, fresh powder. What more do you need?

            

Payment:

Your credit card will be charged the total amount of products and services selected upon confirmation of your tour. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover CardsPayment in advance by major credit card; Visa, Mastercard, or Discover Card.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher

This tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on you home/office printer and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

Cancellation Policy

Minimum 20% fee charged for any cancellations once the tour is booked. Cancellations less than 72 hours before trip departure are charged 30% of the total price. Cancellations less than 24 hours before trip departure are charged 50% of the total price. Cancellations less than 12 hours before trip departure and No-Shows are charged 100%.

No-Shows are not entitled to any refund and so are responsible for the full amount (100%) of the trip price. Customers are considered a No-Show if they cancel the morning of the trip, are not at the designated pickup location at the correct time, or for any other reason miss a tour without informing Incredible Adventures at least 12 hours prior to departure (such as not giving us their hotel info).

Incredible Adventures Tours and TourCorp assume no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, bad conditions of the road and other conditions beyond control, in addition to insufficient numbers of passengers. Not responsible for loss or damage to property.

Weather permitting. Meals, Gratuities and Souvenirs are not included. Incredible Adventures reserves the right to change the size of the vehicle to meet demand for tours.
