Yosemite National Park Tour - Full Day Guided Sightseeing Tour

Yosemite is one of the most beautiful National Parks in the world. This all day tour will guide you through the highlights of the park in one day. Our tour groups allow much greater flexibility for sightseeing and various options inside the Park. The Yosemite tour lasts between 13 and 15 hours.

Yosemite National Park is located 200 miles east of San Francisco - around a 3 1/2 hour drive.

After a scenic drive through the East Bay the tour heads up into the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. It was here, in 1848 that the discovery of gold by James Marshall started the California Gold Rush. The Tour passes through some of the original Gold Towns.

At around 10:00 am you will arrive in Yosemite National Park. Your tour director will narrate your journey through all the wonders.

Yosemite is home to North America's five highest waterfalls including, Yosemite Falls, Ribbon Falls and Sentinel Falls. The valley tour includes stops at the famous Half Dome, Cathedral Rocks and the 3500 ft El Capitan. El Capitan is a favorite rock climbing location for experts from around the world. This full day tour includes over 5 Hours inside Yosemite National Park.

Lunch is not included included in your tour price. There are numerous spots to purchase lunch while you are in Yosemite Valley.

Depending on weather and traffic the afternoon tour may include a hike to the Giant Sequoias - some of the largest and oldest trees in the world OR a drive to Glacier Point at 7500 foot elevation.

TYPICAL YOSEMITE TOUR ITINERARY

6:00am - 6:45 am	Hotel Pick up Hotel Pick up List
6:50am - 10:00am	Bay Bridge / Oakland / East Bay / Central Valley / 15 minute rest at a roadside fruit market. Travel through the Gold Country.
10:00am	Arrive at Yosemite National Park.
10:30am	Walk to base of Bridalveil Waterfall -10 minute walk.
11:30 - 4:00	Yosemite Valley. Your tour will include all of the major sights including Half Dome, El Capitan, Cathedral Rock, Three Brothers, Yosemite Falls, Sentinel Falls, Ribbon Falls and the Merced River.
1:00 - 2:00	Lunch at Yosemite Village on your own - 60 minutes for Visitors Center, Ansel Adams Gallery and Gift Stores.
4:00 - 6:00	Drive to Glacier Point at 7500ft. with the best view of Yosemite Valley OR
4:00 - 6:00	Visit Giant Sequoia Grove, home to the worlds largest living thing, the Sequoia Redwood. The largest tree in the grove, Grizzly Giant is 31 feet wide and over 3500 years old. Time permitting you may have a chance to visit the California Tree with the tunnel through the middle.
9:00pm - 10:00pm	Arrive back in San Francisco after a quick stop for dinner (cost not included) and a visit to Treasure Island for the best view of the city by night. Drop off back to hotels.

Please provide you hotel information on the order form. We pick up at hotels in the major tourist areas of San Francisco. Pick up from Airport and outlying areas is not available.

Return Details:
Tour concludes at your hotel.

Children rates apply to ages 5 to 11 years old. Seniors no additional discounts.

Weather permitting. If seasonal fog or winter road closures / conditions are present the route may be altered.

Cancellation and No Show Policy

Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a $10.00 per person administration fee. No Shows on tour dates are charged 100%. Some specific tours and activities have a higher cancellation fee due to the limited space available.
